History of CDS
In 1981, CDS Solutions Group founders created a custom solution for a local furniture retailer. The system was so successful in assisting the retailer manage all business processes, that the company promoted the solution to others in the industry -- finding a very responsive market for the product. As a result, CDS installed the retail solution in dozens of home furnishing stores all over the United States.
In 1995, the founders decided to merge with an IT consulting business, Complete Solution Systems. This merger was successful in expanding the company’s expertise in new technologies and broadened the client base significantly.
Over the years, the diversity of clients continued to grow, as did the talent and size of the CDS team. Team members worked with clients from all business sectors – retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, government -- successfully developing programs and automated solutions that saved customers millions of dollars in labor expenses, supplies, capital expenditures and external resources.
